Jay Singh, Founder and Managing Partner
Jay is a qualified Chartered Accountant who has advised SME and listed businesses since 2000. As an experienced corporate finance lead adviser, Jay focuses on providing corporate finance and strategic advice to privately owned companies.
Jay has completed numerous transactions during this period, including corporate acquisitions, disposals, MBOs and MBIs, including private equity backed transactions, across a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, media, ecommerce and technology businesses. Jay has also worked with a number of start-up businesses and high growth companies.
Jay graduated from Lancaster University Management School with first class honours in Finance in 2000. He then joined Baker Tilly Chartered Accountants, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003, leaving in 2006 to join RSM Bentley Jennison (now RSM Tenon Plc), where he was actively involved in developing the Manchester office and its corporate finance offering.
In 2010, following the takeover by RSM, Jay left to join Frazer Hall Merger & Acquisitions, a specialist corporate finance boutique. In 2012, Jay decided to establish their own corporate finance boutique and launched Atlas Corporate Finance.
In his spare time, Jay enjoys watching and playing sport, including football and cricket and spending time with his two daughters.

Ray has been involved with leading advertising, marketing, retail and manufacturing groups in both MD and CEO roles, having an international-based business background with over 25 years’ experience in building, improving, restructuring and turning around businesses from start-up to multi-national organizations.
Having worked in the earlier part of his career within Manchester’s top advertising agencies, Ray established his own highly successful advertising company in 1983; clients included Chrysler Corporation ‘JEEP’, Welcome Foundation and Co-operative Group.
Appointed Managing Director of Surface Coatings Group in 1993, Ray reshaped, restructured and expanded the business operations through both the retail and manufacturing subsidiaries; growing the business from £7m to £23m turnover in less than 4 years.
He became CEO of Pilkington’s Group Plc in May 2004 and implemented a strategic step change in the Group Manufacturing operations, to turnaround a £2m loss to a £3m EBITDA profit in less than 2 years.
In 2010 the business was acquired by Rovese Capital Group, the 6th Largest manufacturer of tiles and sanitary ware in the World, and Ray promoted to head up the Group European Operations.
Ray is currently Associate Partner with Tinderbox Business Development a unique, progressive and highly professional consultancy business with each of his team having operated in business at a senior and strategic decision making level. Tinderbox’s impressive achievements are accredited to a totally successful delivery model with a 100% success rate.

Nick has a broad range of operational and commercial management experience in SME's and corporate multi-site service sector businesses (public, private & charitable) and from building and exiting his own business.
His specific sector experience includes services for older people, mental health & secure services, ABI, learning disability and autism, specialist educational colleges, homecare & supported tenancy services, primary/urgent care, pathology/diagnostic services and commissioning support services to Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Nick has experience at Managing Director and CEO levels in organisations ranging in size from £10m to £130m. A thorough understanding of the health and social care environment, the mental health/LD system, and NHS/LA commissioning. He has demonstrable knowledge and experience of operating services in a highly regulated environment.
Nick has a proven track record of advising companies in the Healthcare sector, with considerable expertise in developing and implementing sales strategies and bid management as part of public sector procurement (NHS & LA) processes.
Software & Technology
Nicky graduated from Salford University reading Information Systems and embarked on a Master’s degree in 2000 at UMIST (now known as Manchester University) graduating with an MSc in Advanced Computation.
Nicky has over 16 years of experience within the business of technology working for some of the largest software companies today, including Microsoft, Nokia and HP Autonomy. He has held senior directorships in a commercial capacity. Furthermore, he was the cofounder and CEO of a mobile security company, which patented a number of innovations in the field of security, which was acquired by a Singaporean technology company.
Today he is driving revenue growth for an Artificial Intelligence company running the UK business arm.
Paul graduated from Aston University with a BSc Hons in Management Degree and Marketing. On graduation he joined Unigate following which he trained as a financial advisor, specialising in property finance and investments. Paul has advised on hundreds of multi-million pound transactions in the UK and internationally.
Paul has an extensive network of cash rich buyers based in the UK and internationally looking for “off market " opportunities. He also a significant network of property developers looking to sell their portfolios both pre and post development.
Paul has developed a number of exclusive relationships with developers especially Spain, Italy and France and can provide clients with a fully managed property sourcing and acquisition service.
